Welcome to my blog spot. I am new to being this creative but will try to make it interesting. Let me introduce myself: I am retired from the factory work force. So now I enjoy spending my days (weather permitting) in either my flower gardens or vegetable garden. There is just something about running your fingers through the mosit soil, that soothes my soul.
For the very first time last Summer (2009) I taught myself how to can various jellies. This year I want to master fruit....peaches and pears. Everything else I freeze to save time and space.
Quilting is my therapy and passion, I love any kind of handwork, reading, and soft instrumental music while I garden. I am open to learning new things, because I believe you are alive as long as you continue to learn and grow. Age is just a number.
